Delete your SwiftKeepers account

This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data afterwards.

How to request account deletion

Send a deletion request

Email info@swiftkeepers.com or info@sebstah.com with the subject line: Delete my account - SwiftKeepers.

Include your account email

Include the email address used to sign up so the account can be located quickly.

We verify and confirm

A confirmation email is sent once the account has been found and the deletion process has started.

Deletion is completed

Personal data and account content are permanently removed within 30 days of confirmation.

What gets permanently deleted

  • Your SwiftKeepers account and profile
  • Email address, name and authentication credentials
  • All receipts, images and uploaded documents
  • All expense and income records
  • Categories, notes and transaction history
  • Exports stored in our systems
  • App settings and preferences

Data we may retain after deletion

Billing and subscription records

Required by platform billing providers and financial regulations

Retained for: Up to 7 years

Anonymised usage statistics

Cannot be linked back to you or your account

Retained for: Indefinitely

Support correspondence

Legal records and dispute resolution

Retained for: Up to 3 years

Deletion is permanent

Once your account has been deleted, the data cannot be recovered. Export anything you need before submitting the request.

Your privacy rights

In addition to deletion, you may also request access to or correction of your personal data. EU and EEA users have additional rights under GDPR.
