Last updated: March 28, 2026
Who we are
SwiftKeepers is the product name for software and services for receipt and expense management. SwiftKeepers is owned and operated by Sebstah IT AB("we", "us" or "our"). Sebstah IT AB acts as the data controller for personal data we process when you use the SwiftKeepers website, mobile applications and related services, unless we state otherwise for a specific processing activity.
We are established in Sweden. Operational and support functions may involve team members in other countries; that does not change who is responsible for your personal data under this policy.
Information we collect
- Account and profile information such as name, email and authentication details.
- Receipt and document data including uploads, images and values extracted from those files.
- Data processed with AI or automated technology to read, categorise or summarise receipts and related content you submit.
- Financial data such as expenses, categories, tax-related fields you enter and exports you generate.
- Subscription and billing metadata from app stores or payment providers where you purchase a paid plan.
- Technical and security data such as device type, app version, diagnostics and logs needed to run and protect the service.
- Support or communication details if you contact us.
How we use information
- To create and manage accounts.
- To authenticate users and keep the service secure.
- To process receipts, run AI-assisted features you choose to use and generate exports.
- To improve product quality, fix issues and respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Permissions and device access
SwiftKeepers may request access to device capabilities such as camera, photos or file storage when required for scanning, uploading or exporting receipts.
Those permissions are used only when you choose an action that needs them.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in Sweden, the EU/EEA and in other countries where our providers operate. When we transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law (such as standard contractual clauses), unless another legal basis applies.
Data retention
Information is retained only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain legitimate product and accounting records. Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data and legal requirements.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including secure storage and encrypted transmission where appropriate.
No digital system can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
Your rights, account deletion and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Users in the EU, EEA and UK may also have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR.
If you are in the United States, state privacy laws may give you additional rights depending on your state of residence.
To request deletion of your SwiftKeepers account, follow the instructions in the app (for example under Profile or settings) or on our account deletion page, or email us at either address below.
Privacy-related requests can be sent to info@swiftkeepers.com or info@sebstah.com.
Children's privacy
SwiftKeepers is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
